I began my screenwriting journey at Continuing Education at NYU after which I wrote the feature, The Beneficent The Merciful. This screenplay led me to a Master’s program in writing for film & television at the University of Texas at Austin where an esteemed professor offered the following advice:
“You’d be out of your f-cking mind to go out to LA. The odds of you having any success out there is (beat)absolute zero.” *
Nevertheless, I continued west to Los Angeles, surviving 6 memorable years that are being processed as a memoir/digital scrapbook, Big In Hollywood: You Don’t Have a Face for Television.
I am privileged to have performed my unique blend of comedy & music at The Kibbutz Room @Canter’s Deli, The Gallery @GBGB’s and various New Jersey venues with Behind The Curve Comedy: a Live Late Night Experience.
Currently, live in New Jersey with my wife, daughters, cat, dog, and the immense inspiration left behind by Spalding Gray.
*Absolute zero, technically known as zero kelvins, equals −273.15 degrees Celsius, or -459.67 Fahrenheit, and marks the spot on the thermometer where a system reaches its lowest possible energy, or thermal motion.
